In a competitive sea filled with local resource powerhouses like Yelp and CitySearch, The Local Life needed to distinguish itself while also providing an outstanding user experience. I sought to combine an activity-driven experience with a magazine-like aesthetic, giving the network a sense of sophistication to go along with its straight-to-the-point approach to getting things done in a small city.
